| The East Cork area is the undiscovered gem of the south, it's where the Irish come to Holiday! The historical sea-side town of Youghal is located roughly half way between the two cities of Cork and Waterford, at the mouth of the River Blackwater.
Youghal holds a lot of history within its 13th century walls and has much to offer the visitor, it is where ancient and modern blend to create the perfect holiday resort. Guided tours around the towns architecture and interests are available. These include the Heritage centre at the Tourist Office, the four-story high Clock Gate, the Red House, Tyntes Castle and many more. | | |
