 | DESCRIPTION
We are located in the tourist core of the city and offer high-comfort accommodation in several room types. You will enjoy the charms of our warm, welcoming house, as well as a friendly and laid-back atmosphere.
In the summer, our huge terrace/patio is the perfect spot to chill out after an all-day city walking tour, to barbecue with fellow travelers, or have a few drinks to warm up for a night on the town. When it’s too chilly to be outdoors, you can nestle on a couch in our large, comfy living room over some good conversation and free tea, surf the internet, or just sit back and watch TV. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need, a stove and oven, and a large fridge with a “common” shelf. You will find peace and quiet when you really need it in your room, and 24-hour hot showers await you in our clean, modern bathrooms. For a small fee, we’ll even wash and dry your laundry.
The Belgrade Eye staff is the kind will more than just answer any of your travel-related questions: they will sit, chat, intrigue and entertain you, and personally make sure you’re wearing a smile throughout your stay. In addition, they’re there for your 24 hours a day, seven days a week, making sure you’re feeling secure as well as having fun.
Our hostel is the kind you choose for just the right mix of comfort and privacy on one side, and socialization and adventure on the other.
Check-in time: 9:00-0:00 | | LOCATION
The Belgrade Eye is a five-minute walk from the Republic Square and Knez Mihailova street, the city’s main pedestrian area. Right out our doors is the Pioneer Park, and across it the Federal Parliament – that infamous building stormed by anti-Milosevic demonstrators in October 2000. The ancient Kalemegdan fort and park are 10 minutes on foot, and so is Skadarlija, the picturesque bohemian quarter. One of the most interesting museums in Belgrade, the Tesla Museum, is in our street, about 5 minutes in the opposite direction.
Finally, if you’re looking for a place from which to go party, you certainly won’t be disappointed – there are plenty of bars within a block from the hostel, and some of the city’s finest clubs are no more than 10 minutes away.
As for the practicalities to make your life easier: the nearest supermarket is practically right out the door, a bank and ATM are under a minute away, there are a couple of non-stop stores around, and several good restaurants as well as fast food venues are nearby. |

| Location |
| Directions | From the train station: go out the main exit, cross the street and head straight up through Nemanjina (the really big street that’s undergoing massive reconstruction). Take the second left into Kneza Milosa (also a very wide street with trolleys and buses going through; you will see two bombed buildings on the corner – your first Belgrade sightseeing), and then head straight up for 5-7 minutes. The third street to the right is Krunska, where the Belgrade Eye is. When you get into it, stay on the right side of the street and walk past numbers 6 and 6A, turning right into the first car passage (it seems to be leading to a parking lot). At the end of the passage (about 10 meters) and on your left is the Belgrade Eye.
From the bus station, the road will be the same but you will first need to follow our map to find the train station (about 2 minutes): walk through the little park right where you got off, and follow the main street one block until you see the train station (big yellow building) on your right. From there, follow the directions above.
From the airport, either take a taxi straight to Krunska (about 1000 dinars, cc. 15 euro) or the airport bus to the train station (about 2 euro) and then follow the directions above.
The whole journey is a very quick one, but make sure you’ve printed these directions out and have our little map handy too. If in doubt at any point, give us a call or send us an SMS and we’ll run to your rescue. | | Airport | Belgrade (Nikola Tesla), 18km | | |
