This authentic 16th century converted chalet has 9 bedrooms spread over 3 floors with 7 bathrooms in total (340 M2 of living space). It has a wonderful large seating area with a huge open fire place (only used in winter), plasma screen TV with UK satellite channels, WIFI access throughout the chalet, big balcony and alpine garden.
We can accommodate up to 24 people (in winter) in 9 private rooms and up to 28 people (in summer) in 5 private rooms and 3 dorm rooms.
We offer a flexible B&B concept with an option to have additional services such as dinner and packed lunches and in winter champagne welcomes, afternoon delights and in-valley transfers etc.
We welcome all those who come to enjoy the mountains and all the activities Chamonix and surrounding areas has to offer both in summer and winter. In Winter the chalet is particularly suitable for groups of friends, families or corporate groups. In Summer in particular we welcome climbers, hikers & mountain bikers. The Mont Blanc clearly being a popular attraction.
Being owner run we believe that Chalet Tissieres can offer a relaxing and friendly holiday experience full of nice touches. We have a magnificent location with some of the best views up to Mt Blanc and the Bossons glacier. Being central in the valley this enables you to explore all the best ski/ walking areas that Chamonix has to offer.

Prices advertised include:
Continental buffet Breakfast (In winter we also serve a hot option).
Complimentary carte d’hôte (offering free travel on the public transport network in the valley and discounts on the leisure centre amongst others).
Use of microwave and kettle.
Off road parking around the chalet.
Free use of Linen & towels (all rooms offer the use of a hair dryer)
Free use of WIFI
The chalet gets serviced daily.

Our triple rooms are only available in winter season. In Summer they get converted into quads.

The chalet enjous spacious surroundings and panoramic views of the valley. Magnificent view of the Bossons glacier.
The glacier chairlift at 50 meters. Bustling Chamonix town only 3 km away (35 minute walk in summer).
Public bus stops at 50 & 350 meters away giving access to the entire valley and ski/hiking lifts. The Bossons train station 1 km. Geneva airport 1 hour by car! Annecy town 45 minute drive. Lac Passy with beach only 15 minute drive.

From Geneva Airport: Take a shuttle minibus to Chamonix, or if coming by car:
Follow the signs to FRANCE. Follow signs to Chamonix mt Blanc.
The Route Blanche motorway will take you past the town of Les Houches. You will see the Mercure Hotel on your right. After this there is an exit (Glacier des Bossons). You come off here. At the junction you turn right going up the road towards the glacier. Approx 200 meters on your left you will see a large wooden sign ‘Chalet Tissieres’ in white letters will guide the way up the drive to the chalet at the end.
If you are coming from Switzerland, you go through Chamonix town towards the M40 motorway direction Geneva. Go straight over the ‘Italy TUNNEL DU MONT BLANC’ roundabout. Come off at the next exit ‘Les Bossons’ At the junction turn left (going under the motorway). Approx 200 meters on your left you will see a large wooden sign ‘Chalet Tissieres’ in white letters will guide the way up the drive to the chalet at the end.

By Plane to Geneva airport. From there by 1 hour via shuttle or rent a car.
By train into Chamonix. From there 5 minute walk to Place du Mont Blanc, where busses 1 & 25 take you to les Montquarts (we are 350 meters up the road from there on the left) or bus 2 getting off at Glacier des Bossons (we are 50 meters down the road on the right).
