Description - Guesthouse

We are in the center of Rome, in the Santa Maria Maggiore neighborhood, walking distance from all major monuments such as the Coliseum and the roman Forum. Also, we are just 10 minutes away from the main train station and the subway stop is 20mtrs from our door.
Completely renewed, we offer comfortable rooms with an ensuite bathroom (with shower, heated towel rail and hairdryer), ceiling fan, tv and safe box, free city maps and a multilingual staff ready to assist you with tips on city habits and events. Our rooms all have an ADSL WIFI connection that we offer for free to our guests; just bring your laptop and keep in touch with your friends (free use of USB phone for SKIPE included as well).

DUE TO NEW REGULATIONS, WE WILL HAVE TO STOP SERVING BREAKFAST IN THE ROOMS. A tipical italian breakfast ( cappuccino & croissant) will be served at a nearby cafè. In you room you will find a coffee/tea set and a little snack to start your day before going to the cafè.

  Please note that we require payment in CASH or traveller cheques upon arrival.
  All our rooms have king size beds: email us to request 2 twins or triple beddings.
  If you cannot take up your booking, you need to cancel no later than 7 days before your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0. 00 am (CET.). Any booking cancelled between 7 and 3 days before the date of arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night. For following cancellations or in case of no-show or of anticipated leaving, the total price of the booking will be charged.
Please note that in case of reservation containing Holidays, you need to cancel 7 days before your date of arrival or entire booking amount will be charged.
  We need you to confirm your arrival time and respect it; please when you reserve specify the time of your arrival or do it afterwards by e-mail. This is necessary to be welcomed without hitches, as there is not a concierge night and day.

How to get there

Directions (how to arrive at the establishment) :

From Fiumicino airport you can take a direct train to Termini Station (there is one every 30 minutes and it costs 11 euro. last ride 11. 36 p. m.) and then take the subway (follow signs that read 'Metro') in the direction 'Anagnina' and get off at the first stop 'Vittorio Emanuele' ( last ride 10. 00 p. m.). Get out from Via Carlo Alberto side and facing the square go right.
From the station you can walk to our structure (10 minutes): just walk out of the station on VIA GIOLITTI side (it should be on your left side). Cross the street and take Via Gioberti. Go all the way on via Gioberti until you arrive in Piazza S. Maria Maggiore (there is an obelisk in the middle of the square). Go left on Via Carlo Alberto (there is a Illy bar on the corner of the street) and go all the way to Piazza Vittorio. Turn right, walk underneath the columns and you are there, number 138. That's where we are, next to a big store called MAS. There is no sign outside; you need to ring on the buzzer on the left of the door. The two closest cross streets are Via Carlo Alberto e Via dello Statuto.
From Ciampino Airport you can take a bus to Anagnina Metro station then take the subway Line A to Vittorio Emanuele stop.
