What An Amazing Surprise ... We had the pleasure of staying at Tag Hostel for 2 nights when we were traveling thru Lagos. The Hostel itself is in a perfect location for exploring the city and a short walk to the beach as well. I agree when I heard that this place is more like a Hotel ...

Description - Hostel

This charming old building is located in the main avenue of Lagos, with no buildings in front of us. Just a beautiful Marina and Beach view.

Here you can find spacious and comfortable rooms divided in, private rooms, shared rooms (with 1, 2 or 3 bunk beds per room) and a beautiful Attic, with 6 beds just for girls.
In the second floor we have a common living room with Cable TV and a big breakfast table.

This hostel has 8 bathrooms (with a total of 13 showers and 9 toilets).
We have also a big patio with Beach View. Here you will have a lot of events like BBQ parties and Pizza nights.

Breakfast is included and WIFI is free.
You can also book a lot of activities like Surf Lessons, Canoeing, Scuba Diving Bike Rentals, Dolphin Watching and much more.

Neighborhood

Better is impossible. This hostel is located in the street "Portas de Portugal" - "Doors of Portugal", wich means that we are in the main spot of Lagos, in a walking distance (not more of 4 minutes) of everything: Beach, Bars, Restaurants, Museums, Marina, Historical centre, Market, Train Station, Bus Station or Taxis. For other destinations, like the awesome Surf Coast. Coast, 20 Km from Lagos, we have our own tranfers from our Surf School. Daily lessons or week lessons are possible.

From Faro Airport by Rent a Car:
Take the Highway (A22) and get out in Lagos Exit. In Lagos we are in the main street "Av. dos Descobrimentos", just in front of the marina. Our building is just next to the Market.
From Faro Airport by Bus:
Please see all the contacts in EVA Bus Company (Faro-Lagos). The final Station is in our street "Av dos Descobrimentos". You just need to walk in this road until the Market. We are just next to this building.
From Faro Airport by Train:
The Train Station is just in front of us but in the other side of the Marina. You just need across the marina by the movable bridge. Turn left in "Av. dos Descobrimentos" and walk 4 minutes until our hostel just next to the Market.
From Lisbon By Rent a car:
Take the highway (A2) and after turn rigth to the Highway (A22) and get out in Lagos Exit. In Lagos we are in the main street "Av. dos Descobrimentos", just in front of the marina. Our building is just next to the Market.
From Lisbon by Bus:
Please see all the contacts in EVA Bus Company (Lisboa-Lagos) or RENEX Bus Company (Lisboa - Lagos). The final Station is in our street "Av dos Descobrimentos". You just need to walk by this road until the Market. We are just next to this building.
