Comments (English): I travelled bus from the UK a journey that took 30 hours. Not sure how I would manage to sit for such a long time. All fears were dispelled once the journey began. Setting off from London in weather that could have been better, we made our way to Dover to catch the ferry to Calais. The crossing was smooth and was only90 minutes duration. There was the advantage of freedom to walk about. Hake the most of it! The long journey took us through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and finally Poland. Arriving in Krakow only 30 minutes behind schedule, I hade my way to Orange Hostel, some1.5 kms. from the bus terminus. So far I was impressed with Poland and Krakow in particular. Climbing the 82 steps to the hostel entrance, I was greeted by a very pleasant young lady who explained about the "functioning" of the hostel. The facilities are basic but sufficient. The bedroom I was allocated was shared with two other travellers. The accomodation was clean and neat. Now the test, would the ablution facilities meet the same standard. Top marks, very clean and sufficient. Each cubical comprised a shower, with an unendind supply of hot water. A toilet with toilet paper and a wash basin with soap and an electric hand drier A continental breakfast was also available until very late morning and beverage facilities 24 hours per day. There were three staff members who worked a 12 hour shift and each one was a credit to the hostel and they score a 5++ I would strongly recommend Orange Hostel and Poland. I had a very pleasant stay in Krakow. Thank you Poland
