I (23) stayed at Surtees for 2 nights together with a friend of mine! Our room was very small, but the people were very nice and the location is pretty good!
Breakfast was ok. If you are staying longer than 2 days there are not many variabilities (orange juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereals, 3 different sorts of cheese, marmelade, honey).

Hotel was placed conveniently for site seeing. American proprietess was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was there were no facilities for making a hot drink in our room. However, that did not both my grandson, just me.

We found the staff very helpful and really nothing too much trouble. The room - smaller than we had hoped, however it was clean with fresh towels. Very handy to the Victoria Station - however we walked easily to Big Ben and the Embankment. Would stay again - tho in a larger room.

Habitaciones familiares muy pequeñas, pero limpias. El trato del personal es bueno, son amables y te ofrecen informacion de la ciudad. Los desayunos son adecuados, aunque poco variados.

Nice little hotel close to Victoria Station.
We got an en-suite double room, it was small but fine, even if we're not used to have the shower in the same room as the bed. The moquette everywhere makes it difficult to keep rooms clean, but it looked fine for cleaness as well. Very tiny common spaces, and the rooms' doors don't really get closed by the key.
The staff was very kind and helpful, and we could leave our luggage there both on arrival and leaving, as we arrived earlier than the check-in and later than the check-out.
Breakfast was good, both sweet and savoury options avalable, but the breakfast room is small so you have to be there early to find a table.

Anyway, I think it's the cheapest solution to stay in central London in a clean and safe place.

Warm welcome, and friendly staff. Good breakfast, though I missed the English breakfast. Clean hotel, but small rooms. Excellent location, right in the center of London, just a 7mn walk away from Victoria Station. Lively area even late at night for those who love London by night...Supermarket and many take ways at walking distance (5mn( You will like it if you don-t care about space.

"Perfect for citytours! Simple but nice hotel!"

We book a twin room with own bath for a few day trip.
Clean rooms (sometimes it smells in our bathroom like terribble, don´t know why), evrything was working (hot/cold water; toilett flash; TV)
Brakefast was simple, kinda european, but ok. Nice service!
But the best: you can walk in less than 30 min to the most attractions (westminster, big ben, traffalger, parliament,...) shopping possibilities and restaurants. There were also lot of stuff like maps, advertising folders, and so on in the hotel available.
So the hotel is commend for people, who don´t expect high standard, more using the hotel for a good place to sleep.
We had a nice time in London! :)

Everything we needed basically. A nice, tidy, clean room with everything we needed. The whole place is tiny but it is plenty big enough as long as you don't plan to sit in your hotel room all day. Short distance away from Victoria station which is only a couple of stops away from Westminister and other places of interest. Walking distance from Buckingham Palace and St James' Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

"Very good service."

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage free and helped us to move them. The location is central and convenient. Highly recommended.
