Excellent rooms, very private, small kitchenette aswel which was useful. Last tram back from HD is at 1.40 am and they run very regularly during the day. 10 mins walk from the tram stop, overall its a bit out the way, but a very nice place to stay!

A clean, comfortable, well appointed room in a quiet neighbourhood surburbian family home, with its own private access. There are three single beds in the room and a fold-out bed is available from the landlady. Better pillows would have been nice instead of the big red oversized bean bag cushions. There is no window but the front door actually doubles as a window. This takes a bit of fiddling but after securing, the door tilts inwards towards the room, to allow some ventilation into the room. Shared Bathroom (separate WC) with a student who comes back late at night. The Bathroom doubles as a kitchen, which is fine except that when someone actually uses the microwave in the kitchen the smell of food permeates the whole floor without sufficient release (the kitchen being located in the windowless bathroom) and hence, lingers for some time. Location was another issue for us and it took quite a long time (2 hours by car) and several rounds around the little town and doubling back to Dossenheim, to actually find the house. Eateries in the town centre include a beer garden open till about 10.30 p.m., a chinese restaurant, and italian pizza takeaway. Excellent value for money, if you can find it, and you have a car. Its a fair trek uphill from the main road where there is a train station.
