| Comments (English): We found the Staff at the Strand very helpful, breakfast was excellent. Bathroom area could do with a bit of a deep clean and new shower curtain - or curtain scrubbed especially at the bottom. Some towels were beginning to become threadbare. We took advantage of the taxi booked by the hotel from the airport but the driver was more interested in colleagues at the airport, didn't help with the baggage into taxi and left us to get in whilst he rushed back to the airport. Spent most of the journey on his mobile and at one point was listening on phone and writing address on a piece of paper across the driving wheel. My husband did ask him to concentrate on the driving and not speak on the telephone - he did not like this and said it was his livelihood and then made sure he put his foot down on the accelerator pedal! We asked for a different driver for the return journey who was excellent. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
